Barcelona player ratings from 4-0 win over Sevilla

Marc-Andre ter Stegen 7 – Made a brilliant save to keep out Luuk de Jong. After that the Dutchman kept himself at bay.

Sergi Roberto 6 – Quiet game but sometimes that’s fine if you’re playing in defence and don’t let in any goals.

Jean-Clair Todibo 6 – One or two shaky moments but coped fine alongside Gerard Pique.

Gerard Pique 6 – Got booked for the seventh time in 10 games, this time deliberately so he can be banned vs Eibar and not in the Clasico

Nelson Semedo 8 – Strong performance at left-back, helping to create the first goal and play a part in the second.

Frenkie de Jong 6 – One mistake nearly let in his Sevilla namesake but was otherwise solid.

Arthur 7 – Good ball for the second goal, circulated it well.

Arturo Vidal 7 – Rewarded with a start after Inter cameo and grabbed a goal.

Lionel Messi 8 – One superb free-kick and one fine dribble the standouts of a good display.

Luis Suarez 7 – Superb overhead kick to break the deadlock. Third fine goal in a week.

Ousmane Dembele 7 – Hit and miss as usual, finished well for his goal.

SUBS

Ivan Rakitic 6 – Comfortable on the ball, didn’t need to do too much to be honest.

Sergio Busquets 6 – Brought on and was booked in the Lahoz farce at the end.

Ronald Araujo n/a – Debuted and was wrongly sent off in the space of 13 minutes. Life.
