Avengers: Endgame’s editor Jeff Ford reveals Robert Downey Jr shot multiple versions of Tony Stark’s death

While talking to Collider, the film Avengers: Endgame’s editor Jeff Ford said that Robert Downey Jr wanted to try out different ways to shoot the shocking death scene to make it very impactful.

The highest grossing film in the world Avengers: Endgame had caught the attention of the fans and the film audience across the globe ever since the film was announced. After the film’s release, it went on to become the highest grosser at the worldwide box office. Many fans were left saddened when they learnt that the film Avengers: Endgame helmed by Russo Brother’s sees the unfortunate death of Iron Man aka Tony Stark. Now, in an interview, the film, Avengers: Endgame editor said that the Joe and Anthony Russo’s directorial had shot multiple versions of Iron Man’s death.

The film Avengers: Endgame’s editor Jeff Ford reveals how the actor Robert Downey Jr is very intuitive in nature and wanted to shoot Iron Man’s death scene in multiple ways in order to find something special while doing the trial shots. This news has got the fans wondering what the other shots of Iron Man aka Tony Stark’s death scene were like.

The film, Avengers: Endgame had indeed given rise to many debates and discussion that the character of Iron Man should not have died and that there could have been an alternate climax to the highest grossing film of global box office. Now, the film’s editor also mentioned how the different versions of Iron Man’s death were ‘crazy’ and some versions would never be used in the film. The editor also added that the film Avengers: Endgame’s director duo, Russo Brother were all supportive of the actor Robert Downey Jr for improvising the death scene.
