Vijayawada: The state has succeeded in getting one more central institute, this time for Naidupet in Nellore district.
Union minister for chemicals and fertilizers DV Sadananda Gowda has agreed to open another Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET) for Nellore. He announced this following a request from Jaganmohan Reddy, at the inauguration of the state’s first CIPET at Surampalli on Thursday.
The chief minister said that the state government had introduced several measures to involve large sections of the people in development. “The government is making inclusive plans to bring in the neglected sections into the development process,” he said and added that the government was opening skill centers across to suit to the industry requirements.
